Steam Bans a Virtual Reality Sex Simulator

Virtual Reality (VR) is slowly but surely becoming more realistic than ever, and a good example is a VR sex simulator that has been taken down by Steam. The famous gaming platform didn’t even bother to provide a reason to the devs for its harsh decision, but it’s not mandatory to be the reincarnation of Einstein to figure out why.

Gamingsmut.com reveals that the sex simulator being way too realistic represents the reason why it has been removed from Steam. It’s weird that, at the same time, adult-only games are not entirely banned from the famous gaming platform. Although they’re not available for everyone, the user needs to struggle a little to reach them. By default, they won’t appear in the search results.

If you have the right age, go ahead and simply follow this simple procedure to see adult content gaming available on Steam:

  • Access the Settings menu of Steam
  • Select your username from the upper-right corner of the Steam client
  • Select ‘Store Preferences’
  • Under ‘Mature Content,’ simply click on ‘Adult Only Sexual Content’

Otherwise, lots of people find gaming partners and friends on Steam, as the platform can surely also be used for socializing. If you haven’t installed Steam already, you can do it via the app’s official website.

Steam continues to be the home for thousands of games that users can enjoy. While many of them require the user to pay a fee, others are completely free of charge. One statistic shows that back in 2020, there were over 9,500 games available on the famous platform.

If you want to find info about games, learn about their descriptions, watch trailers, and so on, you can do all those things at absolutely no cost through Steam.
