Selena Gomez reclaimed her title of the most followed woman on Instagram again. The artist surpassed Kylie Jenner, not the first time Gomez has held the top spot. She was on and off Instagram favorite for years, previously eclipsed by singer Ariana Grande in 2019 during his Thank U Next fame. After that, Ariana was overtaken by Jenner, the first woman on this social media to hit 300 million followers.

At this point, Gomez’s following clocks in at 381m, while Jenner’s sits behind at 380m. Selena’s fame came from her performance on the Hulu series Only Murders In The Building, releasing a documentary about her mental health struggles. In the meantime, Kylie split with Travis Scott and is busy raising two kids, which makes sense why Instagram has taken a back seat in recent months.
Jenner responds to claims that she is beefing with Gomez in only 24 hours. It all started after Selena posted a recent eyebrow tutorial, and Kylie tried a similar trend, which they identified as “mocking.”
