When you say Samsung, you’re practically saying smartphones. Those handy little gadgets that we all love represent the first thing that pops into the mind when we’re talking about the South Korean giant. We can probably consider some TVs as well.

Why wouldn’t Samsung have its own chipsets on its smartphones that will even be more prevalent? Apple does it already for plenty of while on its iPhones, and such a move can make a brand become even more respected in the market. We can expect that more and more giant companies will follow suit in the near future.

Samsung Mobile President TM Roh brings the big news

Samsung Mobile President TM Roh explains that the famous smartphone manufacturer is working on a new application processor that will be unique for its phones, according to 9to5Google.com.

However, perhaps the majority of our readers already know that Samsung already creates Exynos chipsets. But those parts are less used than those of other major brands that create processors, such as Snapdragon. Furthermore, Samsung phones are not the only ones having Exynos processors.

We’re keeping an eye on recent news to find out when exactly the “unique” processors will start being available for Samsung phones.

The South Korean giant also announced recently, according to CNN, that it’s offering its users the possibility to repair their own Samsung phones. They will even get a lot of support for such a goal, such as access to repair tools, guides, and even genuine parts. Surely not everyone is comfortable with the idea of giving their phone to another person to repair it, and Samsung knows it very well.

We can surely expect to find out more soon enough about the “unique” chipset that Samsung is preparing.
