It’s been two weeks since the Samsung Galaxy S23 series of flagship phones were launched. Those who are interested in a Fan Edition of the phone now have a strong reason to be excited, as such a device can arrive relatively soon.

According to recent findings from The Elec, it appears that the Fan Edition line is making a comeback in 2023, with the potential release of the Galaxy S23 FE slated for sometime in the late summer or early fall, specifically around August or September. The information has been spotted by GSMArena.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be cheaper than the standard model

It has been revealed that the imminent FE version will debut with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy or the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which was last year’s top performer.

But what else could the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE bring to the table? Well, if past FE models are any indication, we can expect a more affordable price point without sacrificing too much in the way of features.

Of course, we don’t know for sure what the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will have in store for us, but rumors are already swirling that it could feature a similar design to the Galaxy S23, with some minor tweaks and changes to set it apart. It could also come equipped with a slightly less powerful processor, a smaller battery, and fewer camera features than its more premium sibling, but it’s still expected to be a solid device in its own right.

So, why would Samsung launch the Galaxy S23 FE after the Galaxy S23 series? Well, it’s a smart move – by offering a more affordable version of their flagship phone, Samsung can appeal to a wider audience and cater to those who don’t want to shell out top dollar for the latest and greatest. Plus, it gives them a chance to refine the design and features of the Galaxy S23 before releasing a more budget-friendly version.
