Samsung is gearing up for a huge event soon, called the Galaxy Unpacked, on August 11. The company has likely started working on a brand-new Galaxy S22 flagship phone series, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Even if the chances to see the new phone at the Galaxy Unpacked Event are meager, that didn’t stop the rumor mill from dropping some clues about the Galaxy S22. Also, new leaks have unveiled the fast-charging capacity, and it’s huge: 65W!

Here is what you need to know.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Might Pack Better Fast Charging Capacity

Thanks to popular tipster, FrontTron, we know that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 might pack an upgraded 65W fast charging tech. The tipster revealed such news on Twitter.

According to the leak, the 65W fast charging tech is now tested on Rainbow RGB. And such a thing doesn’t come as a huge surprise at all!

Samsung Galaxy S22 is said to have quite the codename: Rainbow. The RGB stands for other models, including R for the Galaxy S22, G for Galaxy S22 Plus, and B for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. How cool is that?

Since FrontTron’s tweet hints at the fast charging tech for the complete Rainbow RGB, we might get the same 65W support for all three Galaxy S22 models.

How Important is the 65W Upgrade For the New Series?

Samsung is known for bringing the best of its tech with the beloved Galaxy S lineup. To recall, the Galaxy S21 series was 2020’s best phone lineup in the market thanks to its premium specs, including a 25W fast charging tech. And that’s not all.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra packed 45W fast charging tech support!

Getting an upgrade would be really great, considering other smartphone manufacturers now offer up to 120W. So, Samsung would better pick up the pace with this technology and bring what we deserve.
