Redmi is gearing up to welcome the next-gen of the Redmi K series soon! The rumor mill has already created quite the buzz, hinting at some premium smartphones.

Here is what you need to know.

Redmi K50 Lineup First Leaks

Popular tipster Digital Chat Station and Bald Panda via NotebookCheck, reveal that there will be three new phones under the Redmi K50 series, the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and the Redmi K50 Pro+.

The upcoming smartphones will feature high-end specs, including a Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 865 SoC, a high refresh rate of 120Hz, 67W fast charging support, and a 2K panel.

The new renders of the Redmi K50 series, however, resemble a bit the Huawei P50 lineup. Below, you can see the image:

As previously said, the smartphones are quite similar to the Huawei P50. For example, you can notice the camera module, which resembles what we’ve seen on the Huawei P50, and that includes the camera bump, too.

The display flaunts a center-aligned punch-hole cutout to house the upfront camera. But that might change.

According to recent reports, the Redmi K50 series could arrive with an under-display camera.

What to Expect

Previously, Xiaomi published some official teasers of the Redmi K50 lineup. The teasers reveal some improved charging speeds and better screen quality. Other details are still kept under wraps, and until the company decides to reveal them, we can expect anything.

But one thing is sure: the processor.

The Redmi K50 lineup is highly rumored to draw its power from a Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 865 chipset, coupled with some fantastic RAM and space storage options.

The company should reveal more information in the coming months. Stay tuned to be the first to find out!
