Redmi 10 Goes Official With a Helio G88 Processor, Mighty Camera Specs, and More

Xiaomi has finally welcomed the much-awaited Redmi 10. The new budget-friendly smartphone has been subject to several reports and leaks, and it even leaked accidentally by Xiaomi ahead of its official launch.

Now, the phone went official, and its specs and features have also been revealed.

Redmi 10 Full Specs and Features

Display details

Redmi 10 flaunts a 6.5-inch panel with AdaptiveSync tech, 90Hz refresh rate, 1080×2400 pixels, and FHD+ resolution.

The display is also featuring a sleek punch-hole for the selfie shooter.

Hardware and software specs

Under the hood, the smartphone draws its power from a MediaTek processor, the newest mid-range gaming SoC called the Helio G88 chipset.

The processor is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB space storage. The best part is that an external microSD card is also available.

Redmi 10 will ship with Android 11OS topped with MIUI 12.5 interface out-of-the-box.

Camera skills

Coming to camera capabilities, the Redmi 10 sports a quad-lens camera module at the rear, including a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a pair of 2MP sensors.

Upfront, a camera of 8MP is said to capture the best selfies and videos.

Battery capacity

A battery of 5,000mAh with 22.5W fast charging support is said to keep the lights on for several hours.

Other features

Unfortunately, the new Redmi 10 offering doesn’t feature a 5G support. It does come, though, with a sleek side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security matters.

Redmi 10’s Price Tag and Availability

The Redmi 10 comes with a price tag of about $155 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs around $177.

The color options include Pebble White, Carbon Grey, and Sea Blue.

Xiaomi didn’t reveal the exact availability of the Redmi 10, but we should expect more information about it in the coming weeks!
