There’s a brand new smartphone on the Chinese market that’s up for grabs, and it’s known as the Realme V23i. The phone just launched on Realme’s online shop in the Asian country without much of a fuss.

In a nutshell, the new Realme V23i is a midrange/entry-level phone. This means that there’s no use in expecting any extraterrestrial specs. However, we must say that they’re quite decent for a phone from that quality category that comes out in late 2022. Thanks to GSMArena, we can now take a good look at the most important specs of the new Realme V23i.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700

The Dimensity 700 processor by MediaTek is powering the new Realme V23i smartphone. In Geekbench 5, such a processor is able to hit scores revolving around 560 points for single-core and about 1700 points for multi-core. That’s not bad nor too great, even for a midrange device, but the processor is not the only part that counts.

The display of the new phone measures 6.56 inches, and it has a refresh rate of 90Hz. That refresh rate is what you can see on most entry-level and midrange phones out there.

The cameras of the Realme V23i phone are way below the standards; we have to admit it. For the main setup, there’s only a 13MP lens alongside one that reaches 2MP. You also won’t take too many selfies with the new Realme phone either. The front camera only reaches 8MP. There’s currently no info about the video recording part, but that will soon change.

The battery that exists on the Realme V23i is arguably the most important technical aspect of the new phone, as it’s capable of reaching 5,000mAh.

The price tag for the new Realme V23i is currently set at CNY 1,999, which is the equivalent of $288. There’s a single option for both RAM and storage memory: 4GB/128GB.
