PUBG, the favorite battle royale of numerous gamers worldwide, is now getting a new map. You know the drill by now: the last man standing wins the round. The new map called Deston is already available!

Those who prefer playing PUBG on consoles will have to wait a week more to hop into the new map, as it will become available on July 21. But for PC players, the map is already running live. If you like playing around with a sniper and taking out your enemies from tall buildings, it means that PUBG’s new update is for you!

According to Polygon, there’s a new device available in the new map that allows players to rapidly reach the top of a building. There’s no wonder why they’re calling it an Ascender.

In the new map, you’ll get to deal with the tallest skyscraper in the history of the renowned battle royale game. Therefore, you’ll surely need something like an Ascender. The city where the new action takes place has been through a massive hurricane, so there’s water pretty much everywhere.

PUBG is available for free via Steam, where a description says:

Play PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS for free.
Land on strategic locations, loot weapons and supplies, and survive to become the last team standing across various, diverse Battlegrounds.
Squad up and join the Battlegrounds for the original Battle Royale experience that only PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS can offer.

If you want to run the game on a PC, you must keep in mind that you’ll need at least a processor such as an Intel Core i5-4430 or AMD FX-6300, 8GB of RAM, and a graphics card at least as good as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (2GB) or AMD Radeon R7 370 (2GB).

PUBG is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Google Stadia, Android, and iOS.
