Oppo plans to end its activity for 2022 in great style, as the Chinese company has just unveiled the new Find N2 and Find N2 Flip gadgets. As you’ve probably already guessed, one of them is a foldable gadget, as Oppo seems to have taken some inspiration from other brands like Samsung or Huawei.

Thanks to NextPit, we can now learn about the specs and other important information regarding the two freshly-revealed Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip! Both devices were unveiled in China, and it seems that they might not be available in other countries. Both phones come equipped with Android 13 out of the box, but neither of them has any protection against water. That’s perhaps their major downside.

Oppo Find N2 Flip could be the cheaper model

Surprisingly enough, you might have to pay less for the foldable Oppo Find N2 Flip compared to how much you would have to spend to have the Oppo Find N2 in your pocket. It’s also surprising and delightful to realize that both new phones from Oppo’s catalog will cost under $1,000 each. The price begins at about the equivalent of $860 in the case of the foldable model, while you’ll have to pay a bit less than 1,000 bucks for its sibling, the Find N2.

The new Oppo Find N2 Flip can surely be compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, although it would be a bit exaggerated to say that Oppo’s device is superior.

The foldable Oppo Find N2 Flip flaunts the MediaTek Dimensity 9,000+ chipset, 8/16GB of RAM, and he Mali-G710 MC10 GPU. That means enough hardware power in case you need to put the device to work for some quite demanding tasks, such as video editing or running high-end games.

The new Find N2 Flip phone from Oppo is also equipped with a Foldable AMOLED display of 6.8 inches and 120Hz for the refresh rate. It would certainly be useless to have a lot of hardware power without also having a display that can compete, and that is certainly not the case for the new foldable phone from Oppo.

As for the cameras of the new Oppo Find N2 Flip, they’re also worthy of a lot of attention. The main setup consists of two cameras, and the main one is capable of snapping photos in 50MP resolution. The maximum allowed quality for videos that you can record with this camera setup is 4K. The front camera also deserves some attention, considering that it consists of a 32MP lens.

Oppo Find N2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is powering the non-foldable Oppo Find N2, which is great news for those willing to get their hands on the device. That’s one of the best processors offered by Qualcomm. Looking forward, the phone also comes equipped with 12 to 16GB of RAM, the Adreno 730 as the GPU, and some powerful lenses for the main camera, just to say the least.

The main camera of the Oppo Find N2 consists of a triple-lens setup. There’s a main wide lens that reaches 50MP, a telephoto lens of 32MP, and also an ultrawide lens of 48MP. The main camera setup can record video up to 4K@30/60fps.

Those who choose to buy the new Oppo Find N2 will also get to snap some impressive photos with the front camera of the device which consists of a wide lens of 32MP.

Oppo Find N2 also comes in two storage options: 256GB and 512GB. If you want even more storage, you’ll have to rely on cloud storage options, as the phone has no card slot available.
