New Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Update Brings Exciting Improvements and Fixes

Even in 2022, meaning a decade away after its first release, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (aka CS: GO) is still getting a lot of love from the developers. There’s no wonder why, as there are a lot of gamers to please who enjoy playing the game.

There’s a new update available for CS: GO that seems to have gone out on March 28. There are lots of bug fixes, but also improvements for the game itself. The game’s blog is proud to present us the release notes of the update, and we have to admit that they’re pretty exciting:

[MAPS]

Ember:

  • The player goes upwards with less force while being stimulated by the geyser west of ruins
  • New metal stairs replace the old ones from Rock Pool B
  • Players can now stay on the extraction fans from Apartments
  • More spawn drops appear surrounding the Lighthouse area
  • Stairs from Rock Pool B don’t have old clips anymore
  • The bug regarding tunnels below Hospital are now fixed
  • The door from Hospital is now solid
  • Many minor bugs were fixed, thanks to Joaokaka1998

Vineyard:

  • Stair clipping has been adjusted
  • Miscellaneous bugs were fixed
  • Drone clips were added around Docks
  • New names for map locations had been added: Barn,
  • Sewers, Temple, Bridge, Castle, Chapel, Broken  Field, Fort, Mill, Ruins, Farm, Villa, Vineyard, Winery
  • Balconies in Fort now have collision
  • Stock spots were fixed
