Mandalorian Updates: Will There Be A Season 3?

The third season of Mandalorian is not confirmed yet, but sources say they will start filming in the next month.

Disney has focused on its Star Wars series, and we may not see the return of other shows until Obi-wan Keno and Cassian Andor are done.

The Book of Boba Fett is also coming with Ahsoka next December. The show will go on, as Grogu and Mando are still the stars of Disney+.

Director Carl Weathers said that filming would start in September. This means that the second season of The Mandalorian will be released in 2022. We first thought that the new season would be released on Christmas Day in 2021, but that’s not the case now – but the Boba Fett spin-off will be released this year.

The production of the series

We assume that Pedro Pascal will reprise his role and that he would be joined by Baby Yoda, as well. Greef Karza is also back, thanks to Weathers. The villain of the show, Moff Gideon, is back, as well. Will Morrison and Wen be back? Of that, we are not sure yet.

It is known that one character will not be back, and we already know that Gina Carano was fired after her social media controversy. So who is the character that’s not coming back? We don’t know yet, but we are bound to find out more soon.

The trailer

As Season 3 has just started being filmed, there is no trailer yet. We also don’t have a clear release date, but we are pretty sure it’s going to be in 2022.
