Honor 80 GT Launches, and It Features the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Chipset

As we shared the news a few days ago, Honor unveiled its new Honor 80 GT phone today, December 26. The gadget stands out for a few features and specs, and one of them is the implementation of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The 80 GT is a top-of-the-line smartphone that boasts an impressive 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. But that’s not all – this phone also boasts a whopping 10-bit color depth, ensuring that every image and video is displayed in stunning, true-to-life detail. And if that wasn’t enough, the 80 GT also offers a wide color gamut of 100% DCI-P3, so you can enjoy a wider range of colors than ever before. Plus, with a peak brightness of 1,400 nits, you’ll be able to see everything clearly, even in bright sunlight. And to top it all off, the 80 GT has a speedy 120Hz refresh rate, making for smooth, seamless scrolling and gameplay. Up to 16GB of RAM

Prices

The prices for the new Honor 80 Pro were only announced in China. This device comes in two different sizes, depending on how much memory you need. The smaller version has 12GB of RAM and will set you back about CNY 3,299 ($475), while the larger version has a whopping 16GB of RAM and will cost you around CNY 3,599 ($520).
