Fortnite is still doing great, as the developers from Epic Games are constantly looking to improve the game even after five years since its first release. Known as offering numerous ingenious ways for the players to compete against each other, some have long wanted to see the Heavy Sniper Rifle once again.

Some gamers believe that nothing’s more satisfying than using a Heavy Sniper Rifle to take down your enemies. They might be right, and the developers behind the famous battle royale game Fortnite seem to know it very well.

The new v20.10 update brings back the Heavy Sniper Rifle

According to ComicBook.com, the new v20.10 update that recently became available for Fortnite brought back the Heavy Sniper Rifle to the game, along with other interesting tweaks and fixes. The weapon is one of the favorites of the fans, and its arrival can only be beneficial. Furthermore, the Heavy Sniper Rifle has even been overhauled. You can use it to cause bonus damages to any vehicle. Players can find it in chests, rare chests, as well as supply drops from the rarity spectrum of Epic, Rare, and Legendary.

The patch notes leave no room for misinterpretation:

The Heavy Sniper Rifle is back in business and has been overhauled to combat the recent rampage of vehicles. Its high-caliber rounds now deal bonus damage to vehicles, making it the perfect tool to dismantle a Titan or breach an opponent’s defenses from long range.

Perhaps the biggest news about the v20.10 update is that the game remains free-to-play! You probably know the drill by now: we’re talking about the battle royale game where 100 players will compete against each other across a giant map. The last one standing wins the round, and using a long-range of weapons and tricks is the right way to get the job done.
