Ubisoft has made an interesting move with its upcoming game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, by pricing it below the typical $70 price tag of current-generation games. The game will be available for only $50 regardless of the platform, providing a more affordable option for players, as TweakTown informs. Furthermore, the same source reveals that Ubisoft aims to continue its cross-generation free upgrade promotion, ensuring that the $50 version of Mirage will also grant access to both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game, as well as to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The pricing decision comes as a relief to those customers who are worried about the rising cost of AAA titles, as evidenced by a decline in game purchases that Sony tells the world about. By offering Assassin’s Creed Mirage at a lower price point, Ubisoft aims to deliver an immersive gaming experience by also alleviating the financial pressure for the company’s customers.

It’s also important to keep in mind that Assassin’s Creed Mirage, although it’s not as large as Valhalla, began as an expansion to AC Valhalla before evolving into its own standalone project. The upcoming game is set in Baghdad, and it features Basim, one of the key characters from Valhalla, as he is on a unique adventure.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will become the thirteenth major installment in the famous series and also the successor to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla which came out in 2020. The upcoming game is set to launch in just a few months – on October 12, to be more precise.

If you’re one of the numerous folks out there who are excited about the possibility of playing Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you must know that it shall be possible through plenty of platforms. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/Series S, Windows PC, and Amazon Luna.
