Where Are the Helicopters in Fortnite: Map Locations

Helicopters are all over the Fortnite map, and if you’re curious to find a Choppa, we’ve got you covered. Finding a helicopter and traveling 1000 meters is also one of the latest weekly challenges. So, if you want to grab some sweet XP and enjoy quite the ride in a helicopter, you better hurry up!

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has proved quite impressive, especially the sleek content added, including the Armored Battle Bus or the deadly tanks.

We’ve compiled a cool list of everything you need to know below.

Choppa Locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

The Choppa is finally back to Fortnite, and we couldn’t be more excited! Before you explore the map and look after a Choppa, you should know that only one will spawn at different Seven Outposts around the map.

Check out all the Choppa locations on the map:

The Choppa locations in Fortnite include:

1. Seven Outpost I is on a hill west of Greasy Grove
2. Seven Outpost II is in the mountains northwest of Logjam Lumberyard
3. Seven Outpost III is along the coast northeast of The Daily Bugle
4. Seven Outpost IV is on the other side of the bridge south of Condo Canyon
5. Seven Outpost V is on the other side of the river west of Command Cavern

TIP: head straight to one of those Seven Outposts at the start of a match!

Unfortunately, the Seven Outposts aren’t marked on the map. Finding them might be challenging, but just be sure to follow the instructions. The Outposts are also placed around the edge of the island.

How to Control a Choppa?

To fly a Choppa in Fortnite is quite easy! You can do it by using your shoot button (R2 on PS5) and flying really high or the aim button (L2 on PS5) to fly lower. Moving the Choppa around is like your normal walking controls, so you won’t find it difficult.

Other controls include using the build button (Circle on PS5) to get a short boost and pressing the reload/ interact button (Square on PS5) to exit a Choppa.

TIP: check the Choppa’s fuel levels (next to the screen) to avoid crashing!

The Choppa doesn’t come with any built-in weapons, but you can switch seats and use any weapon.
