Where to Find An Ascender in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 – Check Out the Map

Finding an Ascender in Fortnite Season 2 is what one of the weekly quests asks players. The thing is that you have to find an Ascender at Chonker’s Speedway and Command Cavern. So, how can you do that?

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 aired a few weeks ago, adding tons of new stuff, including some powerful tanks and a sleek Armored Battle Bus. And the Ascender thing is also brand-new! Finding one could grant you some sweet XP to help you level up.

We’ve compiled a cool list of everything you need to know, including where are all the Ascender locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.

All Ascender Locations in Fortnite Season 2

Ascenders are pretty cool, but they’re just some vertical ziplines. They can actually help you climb up (or down) one of the Imagined Order Blimps or a mountain that are located above POIs, including Tilted Towers or The Daily Bugle.

And to use an Ascender is quite simple! Approach an Ascender wire and press the interact button; you’ll zip up or down in no time.

Chonker’s Speedway location on the map

One of the Ascender locations you can visit is Chonker’s Speedway. To go there, just reach towards the giant rock formation on the northwest part of the racecourse.

Covert Cavern location on the map

Finally, the last Ascender is lying at Covert Cavern. To go there is quite tricky but not impossible!

The location is underneath the middle of the Imagined Order Blimp (it’s floating). Go there, and you’ll notice a line going down from the Blimp. Check out the following map:

The quest, as previously said, has players use an Ascender at Chonker’s Speedway and Covert Cavern. The reward is 20,000 XP which is great considering how much we really need to earn to level up a bit!
