Xiaomi recently revealed the date of their April 18 launch event for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, and we couldn’t be more excited! The much-awaited Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which is also the actual flagship of the Xiaomi 13 series, will be unveiled at the interesting event dubbed “A shot above.” Only a few months ago, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro at MWC, so it somehow makes sense for the launch date to approach. The Ultra, which draws its power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, claims to be an enhanced and more stunning version of previous smartphones. Are you excited about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra?

But the best news is about to come! Xiaomi x Leica welcomes a new collab for the next-gen Xiaomi 13 Ultra. How cool is that? And besides the leaked renderings that stirred quite the buzz, we don’t know much about the smartphone. However, the fact that Xiaomi is employing new Lecia Summicron lenses is definitely amazing. How will the Leica system work for Xiaomi 13 Ultra, you may ask?!

Check out the official Xiaomi x Leica collab announcement below:

Well, those optics are pretty much comparable to those found in the Xiaomi 13 Pro, one of the best Xiaomi offerings in the last few years! Unfortunately, there is no information on the new IoT goods that Xiaomi will be unveiling at this launch event.

Until then, let’s enjoy a leaked render of the next Xiaomi 13 Ultra below:

Notably, the huge, spherical island that occupies the whole top half of the Ultra draws attention to it and is reminiscent of the enticing Xiaomi 12S Ultra concept phone from the previous year. Quite impressive!

According to earlier rumours, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would draw its power from a Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 8/12/16GB of RAM, and most likely 256/512GB of storage. The 4900mAh battery is said to keep the lights on for several hours and can be charged at 90W via USB-C and 50W wirelessly. Its 6.7-inch display will also refresh at 120Hz.
