When Can We Expect the Dragon Ball x Fortnite Crossover?

Fortnite, the iconic battle royale title that gathers tens of millions of players worldwide, is preparing for another wild crossover. Earlier this month, we shared the news about Dragon Ball joining the game at some point in the future, but there wasn’t any release time revealed at that point.

Meanwhile, things have changed, and now we have some important new info about the crossover coming from a new tweet by @HYPEX. It seems that we might be getting skins for Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, or Piccolo a lot sooner than we expected.

 

There you have it, boys and girls: we have about a month and a half to wait for the Dragon Ball x Fortnite crossover. We can also remember that the release date for the new Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie is scheduled for August 19 in the US, so the crossover being released around that date shouldn’t come as a surprise.

We can surely expect that not only combat elements from Dragon Ball will be present in Fortnite. The famous franchise is well-known for a lot of comedy as well, so don’t be surprised if you’ll also see Master Roshi’s pervert ways with women, Goku’s lack of general knowledge, Vegeta keep babbling about the fallen Saiyan race or surpassing Goku, and a lot more.

For even more comedy, it would be nice if Fortnite would incorporate elements from the very first Dragon Ball series when Goku was a goofy child. Dragon Ball Z, on the other hand, had a much more serious vibe overall.

The famous anime series joining the battle royale game shouldn’t surprise us too much, however, considering that plenty of other characters have been in collaborations with Fortnite. We can even mention Naruto, meaning another famous anime. Other good examples would be Deadpool, Ghostbusters, Star Wars, and more.
