Upcoming Pokemon Horizons Anime Reveals Synopsis!

After more than 25 years of unforgettable adventures, Ash Ketchum has officially left the Pokemon universe, and the first description for the new anime’s first episode without him, Pokemon Horizons: The Series, has been released!

The Pokemon anime is pioneering new territory by launching its first full series sans Ash at its core and following a fresh pair of young trainers as they embark on their own, never before explored adventures.

It’s a whole different direction that will begin abroad soon before becoming available for watching to the rest of the world!

The Pokemon Horizons: The Series’s first episode will debut along with the show’s new international premiere date, which has been moved up to later this spring.

The first episode synopsis for Pokemon Horizons has also begun to surface, giving us more information about what we can expect from Liko and Roy in this anime’s upcoming era.

The first Pokemon Horizons: The Series episode is expected to start airing in Japan on April 14 and it was teased on Twitter: “Liko, a girl from the region of Paldea, has enrolled at Sekiei Academy. Liko is delighted to get her first Pokemon, Sprigatito, but it does not listen to her at all. While Liko struggles to improve her bond with Sprigatito, on the other hand, some suspicious people show up who are looking for Liko’s mysterious pendant?!”

But what can we expect from the exciting new installment as a whole?

The Pokemon Company has already shared the synopsis, teasing that: “In Pokémon Horizons: The Series, protagonists Liko and Roy will encounter many characters throughout  their journey, including a group led by Friede and Captain Pikachu known as the Rising Volt Tacklers. Traveling across the Pokémon world on an airship, the Rising Volt Tacklers feature Orla, who enjoys electrical and mechanical work and is accompanied by her Pokémon, Metagross. Murdock, who’s skilled at cooking, and his Pokémon, Rockruff; Mollie, who focuses on healing treatments, and her Pokémon, Chansey; and Ludlow. Liko and Roy will come across Amethio as well, who is joined by his Pokémon, Ceruledge, and belongs to an organization known as the Explorers, as well as a well known video streamer known as Nidothing.”
