The Tamagotchi Uni is Happening and It’s the Cutest Thing Ever!

How much did the Tamagotchi mark our childhood? It’s probably an overrated question. The little game is brought back to life by Bandai Namco, and it’s now focused on something called the ‘Tamaverse.’ Are you ready to unfold some memories with Tamagotchi Uni?

Fans can now play together with the Tamaverse’s Tama Arena, Tama Parties, Tama Fashion, and Tama Travel features, opening up the fun to a global scale, said the release about the Tamagotchi Uni.

Bandai Namco characterizes the Tamaverse as “the metaverse of the Tamagotchi world” in a press release, and the newest Tamagotchi gadget, the Tamagotchi Uni, can totally say yes to that. It’s also a great walk to remember. Most of us will enjoy it, while others will experience it for the first time. For parents, the Tamagotchi Uni could be the perfect gift for their little ones.

What are your thoughts about the new Tamagotchi Uni and the brand-new approach?

According to Tara Badie, senior director of brand development for Bandai Namco’s toys and collectibles America business, the Tamagotchi Uni can connect to Wi-Fi so that we may link it up with other Tamagotchis from across the world. Quite impressive, isn’t it?! It’s also a bit similar to Niantic’s Pokemon Go. However, unlike Meta’s Horizon Worlds or any other available social “playground,” there is no direct communication between participants.

Preorders of Tamagotchi Uni may be placed on Amazon beginning on Tuesday. The big official release date is July 15th.
