Skwovet and Wooloo – How To Get The New Pokemon In The Latest Event?

Wooloo and Skwovet Are two of the Gen 8 Pokemon that will make a debut in Pokemon Go’s August 2021 event – The Ultra Unlock 2021: Sword and Shield.

Skwovet and Wooloo each have an evolution, becoming Greedent and Dubwool. They are an amazing starter combo on any Gen 8 Pokedex.

Aside from those two, gamers can also get Falinks and Zacian, the legendary Pokemon, plus its counterpart, Zamazenta, as they are available during the 2nd week of the Ultra Unlock 2021 event, which we highly suggest that you take part in.

Skwovet is one of the cutest Gen 8 Pokemon you can catch, and it was first introduced in Pokemon go in August 2021.

Skwovet can be found in multiple ways during the event:

  • Spotlight Hour – Tuesday, 24th August between 6 pm and 7 pm (local time)
  • In the wild
  • Completing the timed research quest “Ultra Unlock 2021: Sword and Shield” – Use 10 Berries to help catch Pokemon – the stage 4 challenge
  • Field research task by using seven berries to catch Pokemon

Catching a Skwovet should be an easy task, especially thanks to the multiple methods that are available.

However, the most efficient way of catching a Skwovet is during Spotlight Hour, as that is the time when you are most likely to find swarms of Skwovets.

If you are planning to evolve a Skwovet into a Greedent, you will have to collect 50 Skwovet Candy.

That goal is easier to complete during Skwovet Spotlight hour, as it has a double transfer candy bonus.

Wooloo is a sheep-inspired Pokemon, and it made its debut in Pokemon Go this month as well.

To catch a Wooloo, you can try one of these methods:

  • Wander through the wild
  • During Spotlight Hour – Tuesday, 31st August, between 6 pm and 7pm local time
  • Complete the “Earn 12 hearts with your buddy” challenge in the “Ultra Unlock 2021: Sword and Shield” research quest
  • Do the field research task “Earn 5 hearts with your buddy.”

As there are so many ways of catching a Wooloo, you are most likely going to find one at some point soon. However, we suggest that you partake in the Spotlight Hour event, as it considerably increases your chances of succeeding.

To evolve Wooloo into a Dubwool, you must first collect 50 Wooloo Candy, which you can do during the Wooloo Spotlight Hour on Tuesday, on 31st August, combined with Pinap Berries, to gather the necessary candy faster.
