Epic Games brings Shortnitemares to all Fortnite players as the latest Shortnite film festival, celebrating Halloween.
The festival opens up with seven creepy movies and free rewards for all the players who watch. The best part is that the Shortnites includes a variety of fantastic animated short movies from various creators. So, if you want to support their work and take a break from the challenging Battle Royale mode, Shortnitemares is the perfect place.
Here is what you need to know.
The Shortnitemares 2021 film festival aired on October 28 at 6 PM ET. Other timezones included:
The film festival will end on November 1, at 6 PM ET. So, we have an entire weekend to catch up on the festival and enjoy seven spooky short films!
Epic Games made a special Shortnitemares playlist in the Select Mode screen, and you can access it to watch the whole film festival!
Every movie features its room in the Shortnitemares Theater, and you can choose whatever you want to watch, in any order. How cool is that?
Also, if you want, you can watch all the movies on a loop by accessing the ‘festival room’ main screen. Or, watch a film while playing Battle Royale matches thanks to the incredible Picture-in-Picture feature.
All the players who watch at least 30 minutes of Shortnitemares will get a free Spray Matter Spray that looks like a spooky brain inside a jar. Just perfect for Halloween!
The way you choose to watch a movie to earn the reward doesn’t matter. You either watch one on the main screen or in one of the cool theater film rooms.
