Yes, the new Samsung Galaxy S23 that the South Korean-based tech behemoth released back in February is an amazing lineup. It’s equipped with a top-end processor, more durability than ever, as well as impressive cameras to let users capture their favorite moments and keep them forever.
But guess what? There are still people out there who aren’t satisfied with what the Samsung Galaxy S23 has to offer. More precisely, they aren’t satisfied with the price, as an outstanding product cannot be anywhere as cheap as chips. That’s why Samsung has been releasing FE (Fan Edition) versions for some of its flagships in recent years. Those are cheaper versions of specific flagships, as they lack some of the top features of the original phones. The company will follow suit in the case of the Samsung Galaxy S23 as well.
According to SamMobile, Samsung is expected to release the FE version of its Galaxy S23 flagship at some point during the third quarter of the year. If the information is true, it means that we should see the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE device on the shelves in September for the worst-case scenario.
The upcoming phone will be powered by the Exynos 2200 chip, including in the USA, marking a departure from the Snapdragon processors used in the Galaxy S23 series. In other words, Samsung will rely on its own processors rather than opting for one created by Qualcomm.
We can also expect the Galaxy S23 FE to sport a 50MP rear camera and come in 128GB and 256GB storage options with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The phone will also likely retain the 4,500 mAh battery that has already been found in its predecessors.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is expected to have model number SM-S711x, aligning with the high-end but non-flagship status of the Galaxy S FE series.
