Samsung Could Prepare a Tri-Fold Device Instead of the Galaxy S23 FE

Fan Edition (FE) smartphones by Samsung are popular because they offer many of the same features and specifications as the company’s flagship models at a lower price point. These devices are typically released as a follow-up to the flagship models, with some minor adjustments and cost-saving measures that allow Samsung to offer the devices at a more affordable price.

FE smartphones often feature similar high-quality displays, cameras, and processors as the flagship models, along with other popular features like water resistance and wireless charging. However, Samsung may cut corners in other areas, such as using a plastic back instead of glass, or omitting some of the more advanced camera features found in the flagship models.

Tri-Fold devices might represent the future of tech

According to a popular leakster and data engineer, Samsung is supposedly working on a Tri-Fold device instead of a possible S23 FE as many fans would want. We’re not sure how a Tri-Fold phone would look like, but we can guess that it would likely look like a smartphone that can be folded out to reveal a larger tablet-sized screen. This device would probably have three distinct panels that fold in on themselves, similar to a brochure or pamphlet. When fully extended, the device would have a larger screen that would be ideal for multitasking, streaming video, or playing games.

On the other hand, the new Samsung Galaxy S23 series, which is the latest flagship lineup of the famous company, is being received quite well by the public, and for good reasons. The new phones feature the latest and the greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, among other interesting specs.

In the end, there are also potential drawbacks to creating a tri-fold Samsung device. The additional folding panel could increase the complexity of the device, making it more prone to mechanical failure or other issues. It could also increase the cost of production, which could make the device less accessible to users.

Only time will tell for sure when it comes to what Samsung is planning.
