Quake Remastered Receives Horde Mode and Other Improvements

When you say Quake, you practically say the root of many shooter games from nowadays. The game developed by iD Software and first released a quarter of a century ago has received a nice remastered version in 2021.

Although the developers of the remastered version had made Quake available for all modern platforms, they still clung to the old graphics style that made the original title so beloved by the fans. Therefore, there’s no use expecting to see the demons or your weapons wrapped in some mind-blowing graphics. But after all, seeing some classical graphics is the whole charm of the game!

Quake Remastered gets the second big update

According to Mytistip.com, the remastered Quake’s second big update is up for grabs, and it includes major changes.

If you want to see a cooperative horde mode, more maps, another campaign, and even a lot of bug fixes, you’re in luck! The new update brings them all for the remastered Quake version of 2021. Regardless of the platform you use for playing the game, the improvements will still be there.

If you’re interested in the Horde mode as we suspect, you can enjoy the thrill of it along with a maximum of three friends, co-workers, relatives, or even enemies. Or you can even confront all those enemies from the game by yourself!

The first Quake release occurred back in 1996. The latest release, except for the remastered version of 2021, was Quake Champions in 2017.
