Pokemon GO: Why Is Confetti Raining From The Sky

Trainers all around the globe are noticing confetti dropping from the sky in Pokemon Go, so what’s up with that? There is, in fact, a straightforward answer.
To maintain Pokemon Go interesting for gamers, Niantic organizes unique events on a regular basis. Special objectives to fulfill, a lineup of intriguing Raid Bosses, and the introduction of new Pokemon like Dedenne are all common features of these events.

These occurrences can occasionally change the game world landscape in some way. We recently witnessed weird portals in the sky in preparation for Hoopa’s entrance, as well as fireworks erupting over the world to mark the start of the Festival of Lights.

According to a blog article by Niantic, the confetti will start raining from the skies on November 13 at 10 a.m. and will continue till November 14 at 8 p.m., when the event finishes.

Whereas the confetti flying in the air in Pokemon Go is entertaining to see, it has no effect on the game’s action. It’s only a visual effect to mark the conclusion of a significant event.

There are still plenty of advantages to appreciate until the Festival of Lights finishes, such as Team Go Rocket coming more often. Friendship enhancements, and additional Gifts awards.
