Most Interesting Dragon Ball Characters Who Should Get Resurrected

The Dragon Ball franchise is well-known for involving a high number of characters, and some of them left the screens way too early. There are plenty of characters out there that have shown some exciting potential without necessarily taking the power levels into account. They could have been important characters in the show and made the story develop in interesting directions.

We’ll obviously talk about Dragon Ball characters who are no longer alive, and who should deserve to get resurrected for a second chance to prove themselves decisive. Let’s cut to the chase:

Bardock:

Bardock is Goku’s father, and we’ve only seen him in flashbacks in Dragon Ball Z and the Dragon Ball Super Manga. However, despite being closely related to Goku, Bardock is nothing like his son. Bardock was a ruthless Saiyan who conquered planets and did dirty work for Frieza. We’ve seen Goku’s father in a ton of video games, not to mention as action figures. But he never got a major appearance in Dragon Ball, although it would be unrealistic to believe that Goku could resurrect him in the future of the franchise since Bardock is evil.

Nappa:

Nappa was the main henchman of Frieza back in the Saiyan Saga of Dragon Ball Z. Nappa was a huge, muscular, and bald Saiyan who had a powerful taste for destruction. He was introduced in a very badass way, as he destroyed an entire city by simply lifting two fingers. A few episodes later, Nappa confronted a part of the Z warriors and killed Piccolo, Tien, and Chiaotzu without much effort. After Nappa’s demise at the hands of Vegeta, the bald Saiyan was only seen briefly in Dragon Ball GT, only to get killed by the Saiyan Prince once again. What a bummer!

Raditz:

Raditz was Goku’s evil brother, and he had one of the most badass entrances for a character in the entire franchise. Raditz kidnaps Gohan and blackmailed Goku to kill the people of Earth if he wants to see his child again. Raditz even fought Goku and Piccolo to the death, but perhaps the most interesting part is that the evil Saiyan was the one who informed Goku about his true origins as an alien from planet Vegeta.

Raditz definitely deserves a comeback in the future of Dragon Ball. We can hope to see him in the Dragon Ball Super Manga or in the Dragon Ball Daima, a brand new anime that will debut in the fall of 2024.

Android 16:

Android 16 was introduced back in the Cell Saga of Dragon Ball Z as one of the creations of Dr. Gero. Android 16 was a tall android who had the appearance of a human and the calmness of a monk. He also enjoyed nature and proved to have a sensitive side despite being programmed to kill Goku. However, when he had to fight, Android 16 was a devastating machine, as he gave Cell a run for his money. However, the android was killed by Cell in the end and never seen again in the entire franchise.

Other androids, such as Android 17 and 18, stuck around in Dragon Ball long after the Cell Saga, as they became good guys. We hope for someone to revive Android 16 to make him play an important role in the series again.

Dabura:

Dabura was introduced during the Majin Buu saga of Dragon Ball Z, and he was the epitome of evil. Dabura looks exactly like the devil from our worst nightmares with exorcists, and he had some very dangerous attacks. For instance, he was able to turn his opponents into stone by simply spitting on them. Dabura got killed by Majin Buu, but we sure hope to see him again someday.

Which character would you want to be resurrected? Feel free to tell us in the comments!
