Mindhunter: Will There Be A Season 3?

Mindhunter is a masterpiece, with Joe Penhall and David Fincher being the center of the series. The series poses a lot of questions and sometimes even plays with our minds.

The show is based on the non-fiction e-book written by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker. It’s about Holden Ford, an FBI attorney, who makes the team with Bill Tench, senior manager, and with psychology educator Wendy Carr. They take a look at the mysterious and twisted minds of famous serial killers. We learn a lot about their cases and their way of thinking.

Ever since it was released in 2017, Netflix has come up with two seasons, and fans were happy. Being critically acclaimed, the show has seen great success, with incredible cinematic visuals and perfect characters.

After the second season ended, we were ready for a third season. Here is all we know so far.

So when is the release date for season 3?

The first season had ten episodes. And the second one got even less. We expect season 3 to have around 10, as well. But we still don’t know the clear release date. To be honest, we might have to wait two or three years to get the new Mindhunter season, but at least we know it’s a green light.

About the plot

The first season focused on the years 1977 to 1980, and season two focused on the years 1980 and 1981. A third season will probably focus on the mid-80s.

Ford and Tench will probably show FBI methods to police departments, talking about different famous serial killers. We are bound to find more soon.
