Get ready because Late Game Arena is finally returning to Fortnite! Epic has just announced the news of the competitive game mode’s comeback, available in Solos or Trios.

The Late Game Arena is highly popular among Fortnite players thanks to its sleek tournament practice techniques and for removing early-game looting fluff. What’s best is that the mode will feature two Cups!

Late Game Arena in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3: What to Expect?

Late Game Arena is the best competitive mode in Fortnite, available in Solos or Trios, where you can get points called Hype for kills or placement.

There are also ten Divisions and three Leagues, including Contender, Open, and Champion. Trying your hand with Late Game Arena is the best way to show your skills and enjoy a smaller map where you have less time to loot before fighting.

Epic Games has just confirmed via the Fortnite Competitive Twitter the release date of the Late Game Arena to be on August 30, with two Cups on October 1 and 2. According to Epic’s blog entry, the game mode will also come with a few upgrades, including improvements based on players’ feedback.

How Does the Late Game Arena Work?

Playing the Late Game Arena is quite exciting! You get to climb through the ranks by collecting Hype Points.

The point system works like this: 9 eliminations are equivalent to the points awarded for a Victory Royale, while 26 eliminations mean more than a Victory Royale in Trios. How cool is that?

As for the Late Game Arena’s cups, there will be a Late Game Solo Cup on October 1, featuring 8 new loadouts.

Other stuff available includes Reboot Vans, Squad fill enabled for Trios with upgraded loadouts, and more.
