Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro Could Be Available on Apple’s Mixed Reality Headset

Even if we don’t have anything confirmed about Apple’s mixed reality headset, a new report claims the device could totally support the newly launched apps Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. The software, created for audio and video professionals, could become soon a real game-changer if the speculations turn out to be accurate!

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg shared the news today (May 10) in a tweet that there is a “very real possibility” that Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro may someday would end up working on the headset. Check out his post on Twitter below:

His remark follows Apple’s launch of new iPad-optimized versions (finally!) of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. I mean, let’s face it. If you’re a content creator, you’ve actually waited for quite a long time to see that coming! There were more and more content producers that have long wished for iPad versions of the apps to enable mobile video editing. On May 23, Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro will be finally made available for the iPad. Isn’t that cool?!

As the rumor mill has stirred quite the buzz about Apple’s VR, well, let’s just say we have another thing added to the list. Maybe the recent claims somehow support the future existence of a mixed reality headset, right?!

Just imagine. The mixed reality device will smoothly run iPad apps that have been specially modified for it and thousands of other available iPad apps, too, all via the 3D interface of the gadget. It does sound too good to be true, but it is also a thing that Gurman discussed it.

To make Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro operate on the headset’s operating system, dubbed xrOS, Apple may need to make some major adjustments to the iPad versions. Who knows, maybe those changes are already in the works?
