Unless you’re a pure misanthrope who enjoys seeing the world suffer, surely you’re eager to see the COVID pandemic disappear like the rest of us. Dr. Anthony Fauci is finally bringing some good news about the coronavirus, and no, he’s not willing to say that the world has finally got rid of COVID.

What Fauci does, instead, is that he claims the US is ‘out of the pandemic phase’ while he was speaking for PBS’s “NewsHour.” Even so, we have to admit that Fauci’s claim is better than nothing! The world might still have a lot to deal with in order to overcome the pandemic, but at least the planet’s most affected country will get away from the wrath of the virus.

Restrictions are being lifted

Unsurprisingly, many restrictions from the US are being lifted. Mask wearing isn’t mandatory anymore, which is perhaps the biggest news. We have to admit that pretty much nobody likes wearing those masks.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is one of the world’s most renowned experts when it comes to informing about the latest news about the evolution of the COVID pandemic. The top infectious disease expert explained for PBS’s “NewsHour” and as quoted by CNN:

We are certainly, right now, in this country, out of the pandemic phase,

Namely, we don’t have 900,000 new infections a day and tens and tens and tens of thousands of hospitalizations and thousands of deaths. We are at a low level right now. So if you’re saying, are we out of the pandemic phase in this country? We are,

It will be interesting to see how Fauci’s statements will impact the way the American authorities are handling what’s left of the COVID pandemic. We’re keeping an eye on the latest news, so stay tuned!
