Apple WWDC23: Demos of New AR/ VR Headset Are Expected

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the tech giant based in Cupertino aims to give certain developers as well as guests the opportunity to test out the new AR/VR gear following its unveiling at its forthcoming WWDC 2023 Apple Park event.

At the much-awaited event, members of the media and certain developers will be given demonstrations, but this space will be used for hands-on experiences throughout the summer, which is genuinely incredible. The tech giant may continue to invite developers to Apple Park to test the headgear for app development purposes, so expect only great things to happen.

Apple’s WWDC 2023 keynote event is scheduled for June 5 at 10:00 AM PT.

Here are some insights into the big event!

Apple constructed a brand-new and exclusive”structure” on the Apple Park headquarters to offer controlled hands-on demos of the headgear. The test location is located near the fitness facility at Apple Park, near the basketball courts. Are you excited about it?!

Mark Gurman noted:

It sounds like Apple will also have a hands-on area in the Steve Jobs Theater – open to developers — for after the keynote — in addition to headset building. The keynote will be played in the same spot as last year but there is a new shade to cover people and prevent sunburns.

Following the keynote, there will be an incredible hands-on section in the Steve Jobs Theater for hardware demos. Apple will demonstrate FaceTime in VR, games, and Apple TV+ content during the hands-on sessions. Customers suffering from post-concussion syndrome, vertigo, migraines, or previous traumatic brain injuries will be advised not to use the headset.

The AR/VR headset will not be available for purchase after WWDC but rather many months after it is initially shown out. The reason? Mass manufacturing has not yet commenced, and the most recent information points to a December debut.
