Xiaomi Mi 12 Set to Debut Soon With Snapdragon 898 Processor

Xiaomi is getting ready to welcome another premium flagship smartphone dubbed Xiaomi Mi 12. The phone has been already doing rounds online, and some reports even hinted at possible specs and features.

The Xiaomi Mi 12’s development has been tipped thanks to some fresh leaks recently, but the company is still keeping everything up under wraps. What is Xiaomi planning to introduce this time around on the market?

The Xiaomi Mi 12’s development has been hinted a lot by Mydrivers. The new leaks released by the source claim that the new Xiaomi offering will draw its power from a Qualcomm processor, the Snapdraon 898 SoC, the next-gen flagship phone.

The chipset is said to come with a clock speed of 3.9GHz and a sleek 4 core layout. Similar to other Qualcomm flagship processors, the new one will also support 5G network.

Moreover, the Snapdragon 898 processor on a new Xiaomi phone will be a major upgrade.

More hardware details

The same report from Mydrivers hints at the next-gen of LPDDR5X RAM. If this turns out to be accurate, we can expect a boosted speed of 6,400 MBPS to 8.522 MBPS, and of course, improved efficiency.

Unfortunately, we still don’t know for sure the RAM configuration of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 12. However, considering that the new phone will be one of the best Xiaomi offerings, we might get 12GB RAM or 16GB RAM.

Remember that these specs haven’t been confirmed by Xiaomi yet. So, it’s better if we take everything with a pinch of salt.

Previous reports hinted at an improved 200MP primary shooter, possibly a Samsung sensor that’ll feature a 16-in-1 pixel-binning for 12MP pictures.
