Xiaomi Mi 11 – Global Launch Introduces Snapdragon 888, 108MP Camera, And A Fierce Rivalry With The Galaxy S21!

The Xiaomi Mi 11 was introduced in China in 2020, and it was met with tremendous success. Unfortunately, it isn’t yet available outside of China, and we don’t know what will happen.

Thankfully, the company decided to announce that they are releasing the device outside of China. It spawned many controversies because it offers a better value for money than the Samsung Galaxy S21 does. It is simple to see why that is true.

The Mi 11 features a 6.81-inch AMOLED display and QHD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device features the newest and most potent Qualcomm unit, the Snapdragon 888, paired with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigs of storage.

As far as optics go, you get a triple camera layout on the rear side with an impressive 108MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, plus a 5MP tale-macro lens. The Xiaomi Mi 11 also comes equipped with a 4,600 mAh battery, capable of 50-watt wireless charging and 55-watt wired charging.

The stereo speakers it packs are tuned by Harman Kardon. Additionally, there is an IR blaster and a 20MP unit on the front side of the device.

As for the operating system, the Mi 11 is running on Android 10-powered MIUI 12 straight from the factory.

However, the company is planning to introduce MIUI 12.5 by the second quarter of 2021.

The device will be available in two storage version – the base variant with 8/128GB configuration for €749 and 8/256GB version for€799. Xiaomi spoke about introducing extra color customization options, so you should pay attention to that.
