Will The Elder Scrolls 6 Be Released On PS5? Bethesda’s New Update

Many people wonder if The Elder Scrolls 6 will be released on PS5 or exclusive to the Xbox and PC platforms, just like Starfield.

Unfortunately, Bethesda hasn’t been frank on the subject, with any specific mention.

According to previous comments from the Xbox / Bethesda hierarchy, the chances are that the game can still be released on the PS5.

It isn’t yet clear if the game will indeed be launched on PS5, but there have been several ambiguous updates and comments regarding the subject that led to some rumours which are somewhat well-based.

The newest cryptic message comes from Todd Howard, who was recently questioned regarding the release of future Bethesda games on PlayStation platforms.

Howard had an interesting message in an interview with The Telegraph:

“Well, we’re still…I will just say I want everybody to have the ability to play it in some fashion.”

As you might expect, the reply, particularly the “well, we’re still” part – was enough to bring hope that the game will be featured on PS5.

The optimistic approach is undoubtedly wishful thinking from PlayStation gamers.

Truth be told, Howard is possibly referring to Xbox Game Pass and xCloud in the statement.

However, if that is not the case, he is undoubtedly worsening the confusion that plagues the community.

Anyway, The Elder Scrolls 6 will undoubtedly be among the biggest games of the decades.

However, we are positive that if it skips the PS5 generation, it will miss millions of sales, but we hope that’s not the case.

Currently, Howard and co. haven’t provided any follow-up comments regarding the situation.
