The mechanic is still available in arena, competitive, Team Rumble playlists, and creative, but there’s no sign of it in the normal mode. Overshield has actually replaced it.

As you can notice, the building mechanic will make a comeback after nine days or so. That means we’ll get the feature back on March 29.

Remember that Epic Games didn’t confirm that date, so you better take everything with a pinch of salt.
