Let’s admit it: it’s hard to imagine our lives without WhatsApp these days. Pretty much everyone uses the Facebook-owned service, and it’s almost impossible to avoid using it for yourself. We’re socially forced by our co-workers, classmates, family, and friends to use WhatsApp, and we’re not here to say that it’s a bad thing.

But the insanely popular instant messaging app will stop working for 43 phone models on November 1st , according to TheNationalNews.com.

No more WhatsApp for phones running on operating systems older than Android OS 4.1, iOS 10, and KaiOS 2.5.1

On November 1st, phones running on operating systems that are older than Android OS 4.1, iOS10, as well as KaiOS 2.5.1 won’t receive support from WhatsApp anymore.

Apple:

The first iPhone SE, 6s and 6s Plus.

Samsung:

Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite, Galaxy S3 mini, Galaxy Xcover 2, Galaxy Trend II, Galaxy S2, Galaxy Core, and Galaxy Ace 2.

Huawei:

The Huawei Ascend G740, Ascend Mate, Ascend D Quad XL, Ascend D1 Quad XL, Ascend P1 S and Ascend D2.

LG:

The LG Lucid 2, Optimus F7, Optimus F5, Optimus L3 II Dual, Optimus F5, Optimus L5, Optimus L5 II, Optimus L5 Dual, Optimus L3 II, Optimus L7, Optimus L7 II Dual, Optimus L7 II, Optimus F6, Enact, Optimus L4 II Dual, Optimus F3, Optimus L4 II, Optimus L2 II, Optimus Nitro HD and 4X HD, and Optimus F3Q.

ZTE:

If your phone is on the list, you have two obvious options. You can buy yourself another phone, which although it may seem harsh, there’s pretty much no reason why you wouldn’t have a phone that’s better than the afore-mentioned models.
