Vaccination for the COVID disease that’s spread through the SARS-CoV-2 virus is considered as one of the best ways to tackle the ongoing pandemic, but there will always be sceptical people out there. They have plenty of reasons to be reluctant about the vaccination: lack of trust in the authorities, the vaccine manufacturers, the doctors, and more.

Yahoo! News now brings us a list of five symptoms that those vaccinated for the coronavirus can deal with. Data from the Zoe app was used, meaning a piece of software used for studying the symptoms of COVID and tracking the spread of the coronavirus. Therefore, the most reported signs of infection for those who had been vaccinated with a least a jab are the following:

• Headaches
• Runny nose
• Sore throat
• Persistent cough
• Sneezing

Generally, we saw similar symptoms of COVID-19 being reported overall in the app by people who had and hadn’t been vaccinated.

However, fewer symptoms were reported over a shorter period of time by those who had already had a jab, suggesting that they were falling less seriously ill and getting better more quickly.

According to Our World in Data, 22.6% of the planet’s population has been vaccinated against COVID with at least the first dose. A total of 2.8 billion vaccine doses were administered throughout the world, and a staggering number of 41.2 million doses are administered every day.

The situation in low-income countries regarding the COVID vaccination is not really according to what the authorities are hoping for: only 0.9% of the people living in such areas have received at least one shot of a vaccine for the coronavirus.
