A new edition of The Sims is coming out. The Sims 5 was announced and labeled ‘Project Rene’ a couple of weeks ago. According to Insider Gaming, the game starts playtesting on October 25.
The rumor about this new Sims version is just released, but people have already managed to pirate and crack it.
Read down below for more details about the Sims 5 pirated.
The game is presently in playtesting, so it still needs to be completed. In their latest report, Insider Gaming declared that an anonymous source tipped the publication that The Sims 5 has already been broken.
Find out what the sources revealed about managing this situation:
The hackers have been able to generate access tokens using a playtester devuno token; [the tokens] will allow anyone access to the game without needing any form of online access or approval from EA…[…] the hackers have also shown gameplay of them playing on Peer 2 Peer servers without ever needing to contact EA servers.
The action to crack was simple, and EA is currently testing the game in Unreal Engine 5. Also, the game has no security protocols and no encryption so far. EA hasn’t accepted if they will keep it in the final version while the game is being tested under Unreal Engine 5.
According to the planners, The Sims 5 has something new compared to the others. For example, the game will create a new future for reimagining and franchising. Woefully, EA hasn’t established exact data for the game’s launch.
That is all that is known about The Sims 5. However, the devs will share more details as the game’s launch date is approaching. Also, considering that the holidays are close, we should expect some surprises.
