The Elder Scrolls 6: Potential High Rock Locations

The Elder Scrolls 6, which has been eagerly anticipated by fans, could have its primary setting in the largely undiscovered province of High Rock. It has been one of the most pervasive rumors about its setting, along with Hammerfell, for a long time. If this is reality, there is no dearth of exciting and strategically significant metropolises to include in the game.

Cities like this will be presented with the richness and scale they deserve in The Elder Scrolls 6, which is expected to offer a degree of detail within its gameplay experience unlike anything gamers have seen before. The cities of High Rock offer a wide range of chances for questlines to be pursued, each one as diverse as the terrain it is built on.

  • Northpoint

The sinister metropolis of North Point is part of one of High Rock’s eight major kingdoms. Northpoint, as its name implies, is the most northern city in High Rock, and it looks out over the Sea of Ghosts. The location of Northpoint atop Dore Elard’s mountain affords it a commanding vantage point over the ocean and the more vulnerable southern territories.

Northpoint is deceptively straightforward in design, but the city’s wealth and prominence come from marine trade under the control of House Dorell, the city’s dominating dynasty. High Rock is considered the ancestral home of House Dorell, who have seen the city grow and flourish for centuries from their perch there. The Elder Scrolls Online’s strong emphasis on Northpoint and House Dorell lends further credence to the possibility that they may play a significant role in The Elder Scrolls 6, should it be located in the High Rock region.

  • Evermore

Another important city and kingdom in High Rock, Evermore is built entirely around thriving commerce. Customers travel from as far away as Skyrim to shop in Evermore’s renowned market, which has contributed to the city’s rise to the status of capital for the regions of Mournoth and Bangkorai.

Despite its reputation as a commercial hub, Evermore is also significant to the province because it is home to both a Mage’s Guild and a Fighter’s Guild. Evermore is located close to the Bjoulsae River and was one of the first permanent communities established by the indigenous Breton people of High Rock. Though it is one of the tiniest provinces in Tamriel, High Rock is a strong contender for The Elder Scrolls 6’s major setting because to Wayrest, one of the province’s many diverse and historically significant cities.

  • Wayrest

Wayrest, as one of High Rock’s eight major kingdoms and a prominent seat of authority, is undeniably a major metropolis. Wayrest is not just significant because of the modern impact it has, but also because of the historical worth it maintains.

The abundant Bjoulsae River that flows through Wayrest is a major commercial and military thoroughfare, giving the city a reputation for both grandeur and beauty. The city’s size and wealth lend credence to its significance and provide The Elder Scrolls 6 with a setting ideal for high-stakes quests and encounters.

  • Daggerfall

Without a shadow of a doubt, Daggerfall is one of the most significant and powerful of all the cities in High Rock. Daggerfall, one of the largest and oldest settlements in High Rock, is home to more than 100,000 people, earning it widespread recognition as the province’s capital.

This area will be known to many series veterans because it served as the main location for the critically acclaimed The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall. Daggerfall is arguably one of High Rock’s most valuable possessions due to its strategic location as one of the most dominant cities along the immensely prosperous and vital states of the Iliac Bay. Daggerfall has fought with many other city-states throughout the Illiac Bay in the past, but its continued success in the present day helps put the city’s historical rivalries into perspective.
