The Elder Scrolls 6 – Is It The Case For A Summerset Isles Location?

As the setting for the upcoming Elder Scrolls title is still a mystery, some gamers are excited about the idea of exploring Summerset Isles in the following title.

As Bethesda is working on The Elder Scrolls 6, players debate the following title’s setting.

Looking at how every game in the franchise made its setting the central attraction of the whole experience, there is a lot of pressure on choosing the adequate area and designing it properly to shape a unique perspective on the world of Tamriel.

Though many fans have their theories regarding the new setting, a particular area has only been explored before through The Elder Scrolls. It is certainly worth a more in-depth exploration. Summerset Isle is widely separate from most other regions that other games have explored, mainly because of its location outside of the Third Empire and the home place of the Aldmeri Dominion.

There are various quests and side quests in the Elder Scrolls universe that involve representatives of the Aldmeri Dominion as an unknown power that is always in conflict with the Third Empire.

Some advanced lore, particularly from the stories explored in Elder Scrolls Online, says that the First and Second Empires have also been battling the mysterious power throughout history. Still, the Dominion has often either been compared to the Thalmor of Skyrim or just an insignificant reference in other franchise titles.

Taking the franchise to Summerset Isles may give the formerly unknown enemy its chance to shine while also allowing gamers to delve deeper into the lore of the Elder Scrolls universe.
