The Android 13-based One UI 5 Update Arrives for Samsung Galaxy A52

Samsung continues to update some of its smartphones to the Android 13-based One UI 5 update. It’s nice to see that the South Korean giant hasn’t forgotten about its older and less impressive models as well.

If you’re a fan of affordable and powerful smartphones, surely you have heard about the Samsung Galaxy A52 model. For its price of roughly 260 bucks, the device is more than decent for a smartphone nowadays: it carries a Snapdragon 720G chipset, a 64MP main camera lens, 4-8GB of RAM, and more.

According to SAMMOBILE, the new Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update, along with the security patch for November, is currently rolling out for Samsung Galaxy A52 models. Users in Russia get the update now, and it carries the firmware version A525FXXU4CVJB.

If patience is not among your virtues and you can’t wait for the new update to land on your Samsung Galaxy A52 as well, you also have the option to manually check if the file has arrived by heading over to the Settings menu of your phone. From that point, you’ll have to select Software update and hit the Download and Install option. If the update has become available, it shall be downloaded to your device right away if you manifest that desire of yours.

We can surely expect from Samsung to keep rolling out the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update to more of its budget smartphones in the near future.

Perhaps the most interesting feature of the Samsung Galaxy A52 model remains the IP67 dust/water resistance. Everybody needs that kind of protection in a world where we carry our smartphones everywhere and where Murphy’s law lurks at every corner.
