The main sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, one of the many-awaited games. Early in the 2000s, Star Wars games were so popular and regularly published, but for one reason or another, they have become a rarity lately. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor won’t be the case because it has already stirred quite the buzz.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor players are more than prepared for their next journey with Cal Kestis after receiving new-gen improvements since November 2019. Curious about the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor? We’ve got you covered with a sleek guide, from a summary of the exciting gameplay changes to the first sneak peeks.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was revealed to be coming out on March 17, 2023, during The Game Awards 2022. Nevertheless, a delay threw a wrench in the plans, so we now have the updated date: April 28, 2023.
Here’s the official announcement:
On May 27, 2022, during Star Wars Celebration, the first trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor aired. Check it out below:
And that’s not all! On December 9, 2022, at The Game Awards 2022, the second trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor appeared. How about this:
As we get so close to the official release, we also got a brand-new trailer of the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which you can watch below:
With the release of Jedi: Survivor, many versions and unique pre-order bonuses will be available: the Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Edition, each including special extras.
Players that purchase the Deluxe version receive the “New Hero” and “Galactic Hero” skin sets as two additional in-game cosmetic sets.
The best thing is that the Collector’s Edition will include a full-size, operational Cal Kestis replica Lightsaber hilt and its Magnetic Box. How cool is that?!
According to Stig Asmussen of Respawn Entertainment, the Fallen Order sequel’s story continues five years after the events of the first game, as “Cal Must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s continuous pursuit as he begins to feel the weight of being one of the few remaining Jedi in the galaxy.”
Cal is joined by Cere, Greez, and Nightsister Merrin onboard the Mantis, so it’s bound to be good to see familiar faces again.
Bode Akuna has been confirmed as a new AI companion; thus, a whole new character will join the trip and even assist in fight scenes this time.
