Dragon Ball Z had already been enjoying enormous popularity when the successor Dragon Ball Super came out back in 2015. Super has set the story somewhere in the 10 years time gap that exists until a few final episodes of Dragon Ball Z. Introducing angels, gods, and a whole new set of transformations and much higher power levels, Dragon Ball Super got a lot of fans confused. Many of them say that the plot of Super doesn’t fit in the story of Z, but there is still a lot of time for Dragon Ball to fix that.

While the manga version of Dragon Ball Super continued the show long after the anime ended, we’re expecting a second season of the animated show coming back next year.
