Samsung’s Leaked Galaxy A22 – Could It Be The Most Affordable 5G Smartphone Of All Time?

It looks like the trend to push 5G technology into mid-range devices is slowly yet steadily shaping Samsung’s activity.

The South-Korean tech giant was the first to launch a very affordable 5G smartphone this year when it introduced the Galaxy A32, and it looks like it’s now aiming to make 5G the norm.

Popular tipster Ishan Agarwal gave 91mobiles what seems to be press images and specifications for the A22 5G. There are reasons to believe that it would be an even more accessible device than its predecessor.

The rumour says that a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip will power the A22 5G, and it would feature a 6.4-inch LCD panel to save some costs. However, the 5,000 mAh battery is certainly a welcome addition.

The LTE version would be a seemingly better alternative thanks to its AMOLED display and 2MP fourth rear camera. However, if you aim to benefit from 5G tech, you know which model you have to choose.

Agarwal has no information about the price and availability of the A22.

However, we believe that it is very likely that the A22 would undercut the $280 price of the A32 5G, and that’s before Samsung’s consistent discounts.

The A32 5G is already available for sale for only $205, and the A22 may be available for even less!

That price drop may make 5G finally accessible for the masses, particularly in the US and other markets where non-Samsung Android companies typically struggle with sales.
