Samsung is preparing to launch some fancy new ‘toys’ by the end of the current month. The company has already built itself an interesting reputation when it comes to foldable smartphones, and it plans to continue along that path.
As you’ve already guessed, we’re talking about the forthcoming ‘foldables’ known as Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. Both gadgets will feature high-end specifications, and we’re now glad to learn more about their capabilities and prices! It was obvious right from the start that the two phones won’t be as cheap as chips, so don’t become angry once you find out the prices!
Samsung is just over two weeks away from introducing its next set of flagship devices, the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold5. Leaker @billbil_kun was kind enough to share pricing information for the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 memory configurations. The Galaxy Z Flip5 will start at €1,199 with 256 GB of storage, and the Galaxy Z Fold5 will be available at €1,899 with 256 GB of storage.
Let’s be honest: there’s really no objective reason why you would need more than 256GB of internal storage on a smartphone. Most laptops out there come with such storage space. If, for some reason, you want more gigabytes, there’s always the solution to add a memory card to that new phone. Furthermore, there are so many cloud storage options out there that can always help you out!
The Galaxy Z Fold5 will be €100 pricier than its predecessor, while the Galaxy Z Fold5 with 1 TB of storage will be €120 for 512 GB editions. Overall, the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold models will be a touch more expensive than their predecessors.
Are you happy about what Samsung has in store for the upcoming ‘foldables’? Feel free to tell us your opinion in the comments!
