Samsung Galaxy S21 Series is Getting the Security Patch for July 2022

Samsung is rolling out the July 2022 security patch for Galaxy S21 customers in Europe

According to SAMMOBILE, Samsung has already begun to roll out the July 2022 security patch for those Europeans who own a phone from the Galaxy S21 series. This means that if you’re one of them and you haven’t seen the update with the firmware number G99xBXXS5CVFB available on your device yet, you just need to have some patience. The update should arrive any day now. Samsung hasn’t brought details about what the security patch contains, but we can assume, based on the name itself, that it will make phones get rid of some of their vulnerabilities. The move was utterly expected, considering that other series of Samsung phones have already gotten the update: the successor Galaxy S22, for instance.

The new G99xBXXS5CVFB security update is currently rolling out for those users who live in Germany, while other European countries will come next very soon. Those who will be getting their hands on the update are those owning a Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, or a Galaxy S21 Ultra phone.
