Samsung has a bunch of Galaxy M smartphones currently in development, soon ready to launch. The Galaxy M52 5G and the Galaxy M22 are now tipped to debut in the coming months, and some of the Galaxy M22’s specs and features have been revealed.
A fresh report via Galaxy Club offers a sneak peek of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M22, so we know what to expect.
Here is what you need to know.
As per the Galaxy Club’s reports, the new Galaxy M22 wears the model number SM-225FV, which is similar to what the Geekbench database previously revealed.
Hardware and software specs
Under the hood, the phone will house the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC paired with 4GB RAM. The space storage configurations are yet to be unveiled soon.
Samsung Galaxy M22 will ship with Android 11 OS out-of-the-box.
Battery capacity
A battery of 6,000mAh is said to keep the lights on for several hours. Not a word about the fast charging support, but we should expect a mighty offer.
Camera skills
Coming to camera capabilities, the Samsung Galaxy M22 will likely flaunt a triple or quad-camera setup, including a 48MP primary shooter. Details about other sensors are still unknown.
Upfront, a camera of 13MP is said to capture the best selfies and video calls.
Going by the recent rumours, Samsung Galaxy M22 could debut as a rebadged Galaxy A22.Â
The camera specs and processor are similar on both devices, and there are pretty high chances they even have the same display.Â
The main difference, however, lies in Samsung Galaxy M22’s battery. The phone will pack a 6,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy A22 offers a 5,000mAh option.
So far, the company preferred to remain silent. So, it’s better if we take everything with a pinch of salt.
