Samsung Brings New Update for Its Galaxy S22 Phone to Remove Performance Throttling in Apps and Games

Samsung is once again willing to bring some interesting improvements for its gadgets, and this time the South Korean tech giant is targeting its Galaxy S22. This phone model was just released about a month ago, and it impressed the world through its specs: 8K video recording, 8GB of RAM, an Exynos 2200 processor, and so on.

Not everybody has been ok with the fact that Samsung’s Galaxy S22 phone throttles performance when it comes to many apps and games. According to AndroidPolice.com, Samsung is releasing a new update that grants users more control over the Game Optimization Service (GOS) meddling, meaning the function that was adjusting system performance by taking into account some technical aspects such as the battery life and others.

South Korea already sees the update

As expected, Samsung’s home market from the company’s country, South Korea, is already seeing the new firmware.

Samsung Galaxy S22 is loaded with exciting features. We can mention the fingerprint scanner (under display, ultrasonic), the accelerometer, barometer, gyro, proximity, compass, Samsung DeX, Samsung Wireless DeX (with desktop experience support), Bixby natural language commands and dictation, and of course: Samsung Pay (Visa, MasterCard certified).

The phone has enough storage for pretty much anything you need to put on it. The device is available in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. Perhaps a 512GB of storage would have been great, but let’s not get too greedy.

If you’re willing to get your hands on Samsung’s new Galaxy S22 phone, you can get that chance by investing roughly $800. The price is surprisingly low for a flagship if you ask us, and we’re confident that every penny is worth it.
